Booking Terms Hightree House
1. General
1.1. These booking terms apply to all reservations and stays at Hightree House.
1.2. By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.
1.3. Hightree House reserves the right to amend these terms. The terms in effect at the time of booking remain valid.
2. Reservation and Payment
2.1. Reservations can be made via the website, email, or phone.
2.2. A reservation is only final after receiving a confirmation email and the payment.
2.3. The amount must be paid no later than 14 days before arrival.
2.4. For last-minute bookings (within 14 days before arrival), the amount must be paid immediately.
3. Cancellation and Changes
3.1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (via email).
3.2. The following cancellation fees apply:
• Up to 30 days before arrival: 25% of the total amount
• Between 30 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount
• Less than 14 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total amount
3.3. Changes to the reservation are possible upon consultation and subject to availability.
3.4. Hightree House advises guests to take out cancellation insurance.
4. Arrival and Departure
4.1. Check-in is possible from 15:00.
4.2. Check-out must take place by 11:00.
4.3. Early check-in or late check-out is possible on request and may incur additional charges.
4.4. Upon departure, the accommodation must be left clean and tidy, in accordance with the house rules.
5. House Rules and Conduct
5.1. Guests must respect the house rules of Hightree House.
5.2. Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation.
5.3. Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
5.4. Organizing parties and events is not permitted without prior approval.
5.5. The maximum occupancy of the accommodation must not be exceeded.
6. Liability and Damage
6.1. Guests are liable for any damage to the accommodation and inventory caused by negligence or intentional acts.
6.2. Any damage must be reported to the owner immediately.
6.3. Hightree House is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal belongings.
6.4. Hightree House cannot be held responsible for inconvenience or nuisance caused by third parties.
7. Force Majeure and Unforeseen Circumstances
7.1. In case of force majeure (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, fire, pandemics, or technical failures), Hightree House reserves the right to cancel or amend the reservation.
7.2. In such cases, Hightree House will make every effort to offer a suitable alternative or a reasonable refund.
8. Privacy and Personal Data
8.1. Personal data of guests will be treated confidentially and used only for administrative purposes and communication regarding the reservation.
8.2. Hightree House does not share personal data with third parties without the guest’s consent, unless legally required.
9. Applicable Law and Disputes
9.1. Dutch law applies to these booking conditions.
9.2. Disputes arising from a reservation or stay at Hightree House will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
